Strategic planning of database resources across all mission critical applications by managing a large team of highly skilled DBA who provide support for Sybase ASE 12.0-15.0, Sybase IQ 12.5-12.6, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Improved the system availability of the company's most mission critical application from 94% annually to a documented 100% annually by implementing DBA standards & procedures to streamline routine DBA. Developed a master plan for the data center move of all the mission critical application servers. 74 UNIX servers and two dozens windows servers were moved in a tight schedule. The data center move was completed on time and with less down time than planned. Successfully introduced and implemented Sybase IQ into the database portfolio.
